ARBA 2007 Convention at Grand Rapids, Michigan

Here are some of the pictures that I took of my Fuzzy experience...Margaret Wronski & I worked together to put the booth up.  We even had twinkling lights!

Judging was quite a challenge.  So many animals...such great quality!

Behind the tables was also mind-boggling as Muriel clearly shows us or is she just looking for her Starbucks?

And then there were the loungers... well, Lisa has earned her right to relax with all the time and energy she has given us over the years!  We'll really miss you!

Banquet Time...
We Michigan breeders wanted to give everyone the ultimate experience, so Margaret Wronski our banquet chairperson arranged to have our brunch at the museum walking distance from the convention facilities.  It is a fantastic place featuring many exhibits including a restored carousel.  AFLRC members attending could also tour the museum!  Our banquet space was decorated as if we were in the Sahara desert by the pyramids!

I developed the centerpieces which were given away in a raffle at the end of our brunch...followed by the awards presentation & charity auction.
The major awards were hand-painted plates.

Following are pictures of some of the Youth Winners.  Open breeders study their faces carefully as they may soon be on the tables with us and then watch out!

Please note the little blonde as she was very fast and I missed her a lot...

And finally the big winners with their awards!

Sorry if you expected the Open winners...for some reason they wouldn't stay up on stage for photo op's...gee makes you wonder how many took sick time off from work...LOL...
And, yes...there were many great donations to our annual auction...plus lots of fun...thanks to Brian's auctioneering ...oh yes...I was having great fun playing "Vanna".  Here's a picture of some of the items and the picture that I donated.
